The Psychology of Human Sexuality Part First
October 18, 2026
I have observed that we don’t like the same opposite gender for sexual activities. We prefer only those who can stimulate our imagination. What is still not known to me is that why we prefer one on another? Why we are drawn towards some while we feel nothing for the remaining? Why we are sometimes starting relationships with some and not with others? Questions like these and much more make me wonder how difficult it is to tap the reality of sexual attraction and why we fall into the traps of few and not in the others.
What is the impact of color, personality, education, socio-economical status, race, religion, culture, and politics in the choice of a mating partner? Why we fall for healthy and avoid unhealthy ones? What is behind the evolutionary theories that try to explain something with assumptions?
